There in our neighbourhood, undiscovered treasures waiting to be purchased and taken home...
What a delight to find products by Maileg, and just across the street at Walker Hall Design! Maileg is a Danish design company that features products for home interiors, along with baby and children's toys, and seasonal embellishments. They have long been high on my list of favourites. You can visit their website here to browse their Summer/Spring 2012 catalogue or to find a retailer near you (US, Canada and Scandinavia only - for other countries, please contact one of their agents).
Here are 3 wonderful new friends we've added from the Maileg collection! Each of these items was selected by Grant and the children as presents for the little tyke in my tummy. They are all absolutely adorable.
While I was at WHD, I was sure to pick out some lovely fabrics that will be perfect for many upcoming projects: a skirt for my daughter, baby presents, a pillow for our bedroom, a stuffie for my son... The variety of fabrics they offer is exquisitely curated and are offered as either fat quarter bundles or by-the-yard. Although when it comes to fabric and crafting, I often just buy what I love, and figure the rest of the project planning will come later.
We selected a mix of organic cottons and Japanese linens, from cowboys to florals to prints.
